Especially after the scrutiny of text books and the creation of new boards and committees to design the syllabus.
In Karnataka after the appointment of Rohit Chakrateerta as head of the text book revision committee by the state government of BJP lead by Basavaraj Bommai has been criticised a lot by the mainstream media and the intellectuals of the state.
But as we know the young minds who enter the campus to have fun with their buddies alongside learning and gaining knowledge has been divided into pro nationalist and a pro democratic group or, this is not at all a healthy development for psychological upliftment of the younger minds of a nation like India.
Skill to earn a pocket full of income and having a secure life is the motto of education in a upcoming economy. But these 20th century ideological differences and colonial education system has created a huge barrier among the younger generation. If this political interference in the campus continues like this it may lead to lack of interest about learning and going to school will be less fun. In the long run this will affect in socio economical way and in India, where still illiteracy is a huge issue this is not at all a healthy development. The government has taken measures and agreed to oblige the corrections suggested by the corresponding side.
Education is a basic right given to everyone, but the younger minds are fragile and naturally rebellious by nature so the government should take steps about creating a healthy and happy atmosphere on campuses. Where hate and ideological battles should be avoided.
