The Bharatiya Janata Party is planning to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘s birthday in a grand scale. The party asked all the districts level offices of BJP party, to organise a ‘Sewa Pakhwara’ or a service camp for the next 16 days (till October 2) which will include ventures such as blood donation camps, adopting one tuberculosis patient to secure proper treatment and sanitation camps.
In New Delhi, Arun Singh, BJP General Secretary addressed a press conference and said that he had written to all district presidents giving details of the activities to be tackled, including initiating exhibition on life of Mr. Modi. He said it should be focused at motivating people to do positive works.
Amid other activities set down to the party workers to take up are vaccination camps, sanitation awareness camps, sharing the stories of ‘vocal for local’. The party has improved its leaders to celebrate ‘Unity in Diversity’ and ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat ‘.
The reports told, the leaders have been asked to follow another state’s custom, tradition and eating habits for one day.
The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the BJP’s youth wing, has been tasked with organising blood donation camps and health camps in every district. 10 best blood donation camps and health check-up camps will be awarded.
People also can send personal greetings to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and commit to activities under ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ via Mr. Modi’s personal app ‘NaMo’.
Accordingly, to create awareness about non communicable diseases in the State, the Health Department will take up a 15 days health campaign.
Health Minister Dr. Sudhakar through a video conference instructed DHOs of all districts and top officials of the Health and Medical Education Department to vaccinate children, increase the rate of booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, encourage blood donation and organ donation pledges, distribute Ayushman Bharat Arogya Karnataka cards and raise awareness about the importance of general checkups and regular testing for non-communicable diseases.
