Prime Minister Narendra Modi came down to Kerala for a two day visit for commissioning of INS Vikrant, inauguration of various development projects and attending party meetings.

Modi said that the new political polarisations in the country are the outcome of action taken by the government against Corruption.He urged the people to realise the situation and resist that corruption was the major hurdle of development.

Listing out various development and welfare programmes of the Central Government,he said that there would be boost to Kerala’ s development if the BJP comes to power. It would be able to implement double engine development in Kerala also.

Commissioning of a new stretch of Kochi metro,laying foundation stone for the second phase, commissioning of a 27 kilometre double rail line and foundation stone laying for a Rs 1,059 crore project for renovation of three railway stations were the other schedules of the prime minister.
